This Thanksgiving Day, I bless Daniel, my husband and best friend, for his constant love, support, companionship and inspiration. While I am studying and writing papers in the library, he sometimes makes surprise visits....sometimes with hot coffee, sometimes with a kiss, and sometimes just with his reassuring quiet presence so I don't feel alone. This is true in life as well.
Here during one library visit, he got down on the floor to capture a composition of shapes that caught his artistic eye. He, too, is a seer. We like our solitudes as well as our togetherness. I never take him for granted, and am grateful for him every single day. Thank you and bless you Daniel, for all that you are.
This is a wonderful post - such a sweet tribute to your husband =-)

ReplyDeleteFinding art anywhere is what it's all about, as Arlene shows us, over and over. All experiences, toxic or otherwise, fuel creativity. Love you, soulful voyager.
ReplyDeleteA 'bit' late but I finally got the commenting thing to work again for me. And so I'm visiting here, finding such moving thoughts. It's so beautiful how you feel about your Daniel...you have a gem at home and in your heart. Not many people have that wonder in their lives.
ReplyDeleteLove you sista..
Just read your post and found it very moving and beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
